said:I mean why did you choose the wide angle lens (Since it totally deformed that girl on the left), why those three girls, why that girl in the middle, such aspects of the concept you wanted o illustrate by typing 'Al-Natheef Project'.
As i figured you associated the smiles with the project's aim for a better life quality and such, but still I couldn't relate, as it could represent a hospital for example, or a new school.
P.S: No offense intended.
Keep on shooting!

Why else would Sabri's post titles simply state the surface title of each pic, instead of choosing a more vague title that would force the viewer to interpret the work in one way and one way only?
People should stop being so technical and just accept things as they are in whatever way the art form speaks to them, no?

Now, I wasn't being technical, not nerdy, not geeky, and not trying to insult the photo in any way. Every person has the right to state his personal taste and opinion either in his personal art, OR other's art. And obviously, Sabri if you don't like my comments simply block me, or delete my comments. I'm just creating a discussion. I'm sorry if i caused any tension.
If art wasn't technical and meaningful in title and composition, we wouldn't have evolved through art world to create hundreds of genres and schools and orientations, other than that it's just a coincidence. Just accepting things the way they are is cancelling a huge side of art, which I modestly feel is wrong + Learning from technical aspects of an artistic work is one of the reasons why I asked.
And finally, titling photos IS important, it would totally twist the way you'd interpret any work.
Thank you.
Haitham, man you are always welcome to comment and speak your mind, and no offense taken for sure :)

said:Why is the title inaccurate?? Picture i took of a Girl with a smile can be understood as if YOU were smiling when u took the pic. The more accurate title would be: Picture i took of a girl smiling, and by the way, she's not cute.

Susa, i told her why do you look like you are angry with me, so she smiled
Sapphire, the title isn't inaccurate, she was smiling and so was I, however you wish to interpret it you got it right. Who said anything about cute?
