Ohoud, Yes, its not red/pink because its associated with love, you know when you close your eyes and face the sun or something very bright, these colors you see are the ones i tried to use, even if the blind don't see them, its the closest form of blindness we experience.

its amazing how they have names for everything, it reminds me of a book "the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy" where one word conveyed a very detailed message.

Many painters do self portraits subconsciously ( Mona Lisa was thought to be a portrait of Da vinci ) many of Van Gogh’s portraits for other people have his own features. So maybe this is not the blind man’s lover but actually the painter’s own image of himself as a lover?
