Reminds me of a homeless person I came upon who was sleeping on a grate where warm air was coming up. I had three dollars. I tucked them into his pocket and went on my way. I'm not trying to say I did a great act of charity or anything. I just thought about the fact that given a bad twist of luck, he could be any of us. And I hoped he might use it to get himself a little food.
